During our trip to Japan in October of 2023, Tatsui wanted to visit her friends living in Yamanashi. They invited us along to take a look at some of the best spots in the prefecture. And as it turns out that this place, void of functional public transport, actually has a lot of beautiful places to see. With the majestic Mount Fuji towering over us throughout the entire journey, we had a great time seeing fantastic places such as the incredible Kuonj Temple where we saw actual Buddhist monks. We ate fantastic food like Yakiniku or various traditional noodle dishes. And don’t forget the free Yakult that we drank at our Dormy Inn Hotel in Kofu!
