For a long time it has bothered me that the name Fukushima is now so negatively associated with a nuclear disaster. However, Fukushima is more than just that. It is an entire prefecture filled with cool sights, fascinating history as well as arts and crafts traditions still maintained today. That are some of the few things I learned when I decided to visit and explore it in February. I loved my trip to Fukushima or more specifically the Aizu basin. I rented a car and explored and saw things for myself. I even managed to stumble across a funny little festival here that I was not even aware of. But all in all, was I able to successfully convince you to consider Fukushima as your next travel destination? Only one way to find out…… Well, in hindsight there are probably a few more ways, but let’s focus on the one that gets you to watch my video 😉
